SOH Energy is an indigenous Ghanaian oil and gas service company incorporated and operating in Ghana. References to "SOH Energy", "we", "us" or "our" in this policy refer to SOH Energy and its affiliated entities.

2. What personal data we collect

We collect only the personal data necessary to respond to your enquiry or fulfil a legitimate business purpose. This may include:

• Contact form submissions: full name, phone number, email address and any message you choose to send us.
• Communications: email correspondence, letters or other written communications you send to us.
• Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps — collected automatically when you access our website. This data is aggregated and not linked to individuals.
• Business contact details: name, job title, company and contact information exchanged during meetings, events or commercial negotiations.

We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as national ID numbers, health data or financial account details) through this website.

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell or rent your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How long we keep your data

• Contact form enquiries: retained for up to 24 months from the date of receipt, or until the enquiry is resolved — whichever is sooner.
• Business contact records: retained for the duration of the business relationship, plus up to 7 years thereafter for accounting and legal compliance.
• Server logs: retained for up to 90 days then automatically purged.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell, trade or transfer your personal data to unrelated third parties. We may share data with:

• Our hosting provider (Hostinger): our website and email infrastructure is hosted on Hostinger servers. Data is processed in accordance with their privacy policy and data processing terms.
• Google LLC: our website embeds Google Maps to display our office location. Google may collect data in connection with this embed. See Google's Privacy Policy. Google Fonts are also loaded from Google's CDN to render our website typeface.
• Legal authorities: where required by Ghanaian law, a court order or regulatory requirement.

6. Transfers outside Ghana

Your data may be processed by our hosting provider and by Google on servers located outside Ghana. Where such transfers occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place consistent with Ghana's Data Protection Act 2012 and, where applicable, international data protection standards.

7. Your rights

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843), you have the right to:

• Know whether we hold personal data about you.
• Request access to personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Object to processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
• Request deletion of personal data we hold about you, where we have no continuing legal basis to retain it.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@sohenergy.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Our website is served over HTTPS. Contact form submissions are transmitted securely and stored only in our email inbox, which is protected by password and two-factor authentication.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, please notify us immediately at info@sohenergy.com.

9. Third-party links

Our website contains links to external sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, partner organisations). This privacy policy applies only to sohenergy.com. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites and encourage you to read their policies separately.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
