iDPRS is proud to announce that its research and development work on the Well Injection Optimization System has been accepted for presentation at the ATC Africa Technology Conference in Abidjan.
The system is designed to analyse the interaction and connectivity between water injection wells and oil producing wells in complex reservoirs. It uses intelligent, data-driven modelling to help operators understand how injected water moves through reservoir systems.
Water injection is central to pressure maintenance and improved hydrocarbon recovery. By improving water allocation strategies, reducing inefficient injection patterns and limiting early water breakthrough, the iDPRS solution supports more efficient production decisions.
The conference presentation gives iDPRS an opportunity to showcase its work to engineers, researchers, operators and technology leaders across Africa and beyond, while strengthening its position as an emerging African centre for AI-powered reservoir engineering innovation.
